Development and design of the entrance hall, lobby and common spaces for a multi-activity building

Adjoining a mall and as large as a shop window, the entrance to the office building situated on the Champs-Élysées required special treatment to ensure it would stand out from the surrounding shops. We opted to create an intermediate black box, neutral and minimalist, creating a transition between the famous avenue and the entrance hall. The walls made of stainless steel with a vibration finish block out vibrant activity on the street. The entranceway leads onto the reception hall that was designed to be luminous, colourful, and rounded. Its enveloping shape underpins the fluidity of the flow. The walls are curved and made of sheet metal coated with velvet textured paint.
Panels of lacquered glass bearing a screen-printed motif specially created for the project interact with walls that are clad in blue acoustic fabric. The same identity is reproduced throughout the common spaces and over the eight storeys of the building.
