Project management for the creation of a monumental sculpture

Agent M assisted and supported the artist from the outset at each phase in the design. We also managed the project and implementation of the monumental sculpture that was displayed in the summer of 2014 at centre of the Galeries Lafayette dome in Paris.
The first stage concerned the design and creation of the smaller and most central element which was the overhanging character. The second stage addressed the much larger hot air balloon. Drawn in 3D based on the measurements and proportions of the Galeries dome, it was then created and assembled in a workshop, and finally hoisted to the ceiling of the department store and inflated using pulsed air. Boasting a diameter of 8 m, this huge fabric element supported the wooden plank and strings that held the character and appears to float at the centre of the Galeries, conferring both strength and magic to the artistic creation.
