Interior Architecture (library space), indoor and outdoor furniture
On the exceptional site of the Ile de Porquerolles island, the modern art foundation set up by Edouard Carmignac is housed in a former ‘mas’ (traditional farmhouse), nestled in the heart of a superb natural park and vineyards where the collection of sculptures is displayed. Agent M was entrusted with several aspects of the project: the design for the reception area and bookstore, a ‘nu pieds’ (barefoot) space, the design of benches for the exhibition halls, and vantage points overlooking the landscape. For the outdoor spaces, Agent M designed a set of specific furniture items (monumental gate, totem and signage furniture, benches, cloakrooms…) made out of Corten steel that blends in harmoniously in the natural landscape redesigned by landscape artist Louis Benech.
